With the CalvaPro service, CalvaCom provides a complete range of methods for written communications. Subscribers have access to telex, fax, X400 and Internet messaging.

The only material requirements for a subscriber are a micro, a modem and a customized communications package provided by CalvaCom. This software allows access to the system by local call to any one of the 600 access points around the world.

Thus, a travelling businessman subscribing to the service can handle all his communications needs from any hotel room in the world with a standard telephone plug, without having to place an international call.

User interfaces, both DOS and Windows95 (R) are available in English, French and shortly in Portuguese and incorporate an unusual degree of automomy combined with extreme user-friendliness.

Throughout Africa, the service is supported by a network of agents and distributors trained to handle installation, training and ongoing support.
